1. Who we are

Kadolino is a brand of ARCKONE SRL, a limited liability company under Belgian law, registered office Rue Beyaert 83, 7500 Tournai, Belgium, company number (CBE) 1036.692.448, VAT BE 1036.692.448, e-mail hello@kadolino.com.

2. The product

A personalised comic book of 24 pages in A5 format, created from the photos and the text you provide, delivered as a printed copy with the PDF included, or as a PDF only. The illustrations are generated by artificial intelligence and then proofread, corrected and laid out by us.

3. Order and price

Prices are in euros, VAT included, delivery included for Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The order is placed after the free preview, once you have chosen the edition and paid through our payment provider. The contract is concluded when we confirm your payment by e-mail.

4. Preview, corrections and approval

The preview is free and without commitment. After payment, one round of corrections is included. You approve the final version before printing; we cannot be held responsible for text you approved.

5. Withdrawal and refund

Because the comic is made to your specifications, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply (art. VI.53, 3° of the Code of Economic Law). As a commercial guarantee, we refund the full price on request until the moment your comic goes to print, which we confirm by e-mail. For the PDF-only edition, you agree that delivery starts immediately after payment and that you thereby waive your right of withdrawal (art. VI.53, 13°).

6. Delivery

The PDF is sent by e-mail within 48 hours of your approval. The printed copy is delivered within 10 to 14 working days after the comic goes to print. The risk passes to you on delivery. A book damaged in transport is reprinted at our expense if you report it within 7 days with a photo.

7. Legal guarantee of conformity

You benefit from the legal two-year guarantee of conformity provided by the Code of Economic Law. A non-conforming book is reprinted or refunded.

8. Your content

You confirm that you hold the rights to the photos and the text you provide, and that every person shown has consented to appear in the comic. For minors, the consent of a parent or guardian is required. We refuse content that is illegal, hateful, defamatory or that infringes third-party rights, and refund the order in that case.

9. Intellectual property

Your text and photos remain yours. Under current law, images generated by an AI are not protected by copyright; you may use your comic freely and we do not reuse your story, your characters or your photos.

10. Liability

Our liability is limited to the price of the order, except in the case of gross negligence or intentional fault.

11. Disputes

Belgian law applies. In case of a dispute, please write to us first. Consumers may also contact the Consumer Mediation Service (consumerombudsman.be) or use the European online dispute resolution platform. The courts of the registered office have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the consumer's mandatory rights.
